Forces of Nature – or lack there of 5/8/15

Here in California we are in a pretty severe drought. However, yesterday we had a day of rain and thunder. It was awesome. When I came out from my office, I found these beauties and luckily I had my camera.

This last one was taken last year when we were at the beach in January, the waves were so high and strong that we had to get out, nature is not something we mess with. This is my friend with my then 3 1/2 year old checking out the huge waves.
